Albuquerque Invitational 2027

ALBUQUERQUE INVITATIONAL

April 2-30, 2027

Albuquerque Invitational is open to all New Mexico artists. This extraordinary exhibition celebrates New Mexico's art and artists. Our beautiful exhibition space is 14,000 square feet and is located on Central Avenue (the historic Route 66) in downtown Albuquerque's art district. Our building is also on the National Register of Historic Places.

Last year's exhibition, This Is Us, had 148 participating artists. We expect 2027's exhibition to be much larger.

This is not a juried exhibition. If you submit work, we accept it (with some minor exceptions explained below).

ARTISTS KEEP 100% OF ALL COMMISSIONS!

The application fee is $25 per artwork.

As a nonprofit, this fee goes toward organizing, installing/deinstalling, promoting the show, and paying staff to be in the exhibition space during the exhibition. Payments are processed through PayPal. If you hate/dislike/distrust PayPal, please contact us at info@pleasedtopresent.org for an alternative payment method. If the application fee is a hindrance, please contact us at info@pleasedtopresent.org. We have a limited number of low-cost or free options.

About Pleased to Present: we are a 501c3 art organization and a little more than a year old. Albuquerque is home to more than 70 ethnicities. Our mission is to bring nationally and internationally recognized art and artists to Albuquerque while continuing to support local and regional artists, initiating dialogue, collaboration, and cross-pollination of ideas.  We have zero interest in being "gatekeepers" to what New Mexico art should or can be.
